Bhag-1 carries the non-Rajasthan half of the syllabus: Jan Swasthya (public health), Vigyan evam Praudyogiki (science and technology), Samanya Hindi, General English, and Tarkik Vivechan evam Ganit (logical reasoning and mathematics). That grouping is worth noticing, because these are the subjects a candidate is most likely to underprepare. Rajasthan history, geography and culture feel like the real CET syllabus and get the attention; language, reasoning and public health are treated as things that will look after themselves. They do not, and they carry marks equal to anything else.
The book also states that it includes the new topics added to the syllabus. This is the point on which CET books most often disappoint. A superficially revised title carries new headings with no material behind them, and a candidate discovers the gap in the examination hall. A guide built explicitly around the additions is the safer purchase in a year when the syllabus has changed.
Solved papers are included, which supplies what a guide alone cannot: the actual difficulty band and phrasing the board uses. Being Bhag-1, it is intended for use with Bhag-2 for complete syllabus coverage.
