This is a Hindi medium (हिन्दी माध्यम) book from Sikhwal Publication in its Ujjwal Rajasthan series, compiled by N.M. They carry the same marks as anything else, and in a screening examination where the whole paper has to be attempted, a weak half-dozen subjects costs exactly as much as a weak history section. Reasoning and mathematics in particular sit here, and that is the section where preparation genuinely changes the outcome. The rest of the paper is recall — a fact is known or it is not. Maths and reasoning are different: the same question takes forty seconds or four minutes depending on the method used, and across a long paper that difference decides whether it gets finished.
